Post-Purchase Survey Questions

Post-purchase survey questions should follow a real order and separate checkout, delivery, product, and support. One well-timed survey is more useful than a question about every touchpoint at once.

Questions about the purchase

  • How easy was it to complete your purchase?
  • What made you choose this product?
  • Was the information you needed easy to find?
  • What could have made checkout clearer?

Questions about the result

  • Did the product meet your expectations?
  • What worked best after you received it?
  • What would you change about the experience?
  • Would you consider buying from us again?

How to adapt

Ask checkout questions before delivery and product questions after the customer has had time to use the order. Use the delivery questions for timing, condition, and packaging.

Avoid “Was the product fast and well packaged?”. Split it into separate questions so the answer points to a clear owner.

Next step

Choose the journey moment you need to improve, ask one score and two open questions, and review the answers with the responsible team.
