Digital Agency Feedback Survey
An agency does not need to wait for a project to fail before learning how the client experiences the work. A short survey after delivery shows what was valued, where communication slowed down, and what could improve the next project.
Where to place the survey
Choose the moment based on the decision:
- after the brief, to check whether the goal is clear;
- during the project, to find friction before delivery;
- at closeout, to understand the result and process;
- after delivery, to learn whether the solution was adopted.
The post-project survey template covers the essentials without turning closeout into a long audit.
Questions that help
Ask about the perceived result, communication clarity, and the next problem the client wants to solve. Avoid a generic score with no context: it says that something happened, but not where to act.
- Did the result match what you needed?
- What helped most during the project?
- When did communication or speed fall short?
- What would you change about the way we worked?
- What should we understand better next?
Turn answers into a decision
Organize responses by service stage. A comment about delayed approvals needs a different conversation from a comment about result quality.
Share a short summary with the team: observed pattern, evidence, chosen action, and review date. A client does not need a 50-slide presentation to see that their feedback was heard.
The feedback survey guide helps choose timing and survey length.
What to measure
Use CSAT for a recent delivery. Use an open question when you need the reason. Use a recommendation question when the client knows the work well and you want to track the relationship.
Do not combine every metric in every round. The best survey answers the decision currently on the table.
Next step
Choose one recent project, send six questions, and mark one process improvement. Compare equivalent projects after the next delivery.
